TravelWish is a small nonprofit powered by donations and the generosity of our travel and hospitality partners. Travel opportunities are limited and depend on donated lodging and other resources becoming available.

Submitting an application does not guarantee a trip or lodging, and opportunities are not necessarily provided in the order applications are received. Unless specifically stated otherwise, airfare, transportation, meals, activities, travel insurance and other personal expenses are not included.

Why Travel
People with a terminal or life-limiting diagnosis often want to spend quality time with family before their symptoms progress and they become too sick to travel.

​When palliative care teams assist patients and families with end-of-life travel, they empower them with a greater sense of control. Many health care professionals recommend travel as a comfort care goal.
