TravelWish.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps adults and their families facing terminal illness fulfill meaningful travel experiences together. We provide compassionate support and practical assistance to turn travel dreams into lasting memories.

Applicants must be aged 18 or older, a resident of the United States, and have a terminal condition with prognosis of 3 years or less. A physician's statement is required to confirm condition. We assist adults facing advanced cancer or other illness that is considered incurable and is expected to significantly shorten life, typically within 1 - 3 years. A partial list includes: Pancreatic Cancer Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Stage IV Lung Cancer Stage IV Liver Cancer Stage IV Stomach Cancer Stage IV Esophageal Cancer Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Metastatic Breast Cancer Metastatic Ovarian Cancer Metastatic Head & Neck Cancers Metastatic Melanoma Metastatic Sarcoma Multiple Myeloma (End-Stage) Acute Leukemia (Refractory) Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) End-Stage Heart Failure (NYHA IV) End-Stage COPD End-Stage Pulmonary Fibrosis End-Stage Kidney Disease (No Dialysis) End-Stage Liver Disease / Cirrhosis Advanced Huntington’s Disease Advanced Parkinson’s Disease *To be eligible for donated travel or grants, applicants will need to provide a Physician's statement or other acceptable documentation.

We understand time is precious. Travel itineraries are based on specific situations, with urgent requests expedited whenever possible. However, we typically need a window of 6-12 months to plan and try to gather resources.

We accept both monetary and non-monetary donations. In-kind donations can include timeshare weeks, short term rental stays, airline miles, transportation, and photography services. We appreciate donations from individuals, business sponsorships and fundraising partnerships. We now accept vehicle donations as well! Monetary and/or in-kind travel donations help fund travel expenses for qualifying families, including flights, accommodations, meals, and activities. We accept donations directly through our Donate p(https://www.travelwish.org/donate)age.

Yes, charitable donations to qualified organizations are generally tax deductible. However, please consult your tax advisor or IRS publications for further information.
